Check out what I'm up to today.
I'm SO glad I like CSI because that is the one show I can watch every day in Korea. Gotta love all those reruns! They love crime shows here.
The cherry blossoms here are beautiful! I really want to go to an area here in Daejeon where the streets are lined with them so I can take some beautiful pictures. I'm hoping to go this weekend.
I miss my dogs SO bad. I've had dogs for 15 years, and I feel so lonely living all by myself over here. Sad face.
Ugh. I'm sick. With what, I have no idea because I couldn't really understand what the doctor was saying. I have a horrible cough, feeling really tired, and have a runny nose. I did get medicine and got my very first nasal wash. It actually felt very refreshing.
School just started March 3rd, so when I leave Korea I will be leaving in the middle of the school year. My contract ends August 25th, so I will most likely be coming home after school starts at home. Hopefully it won't affect me getting a job!
It sounds like a beautiful time to be in Korea! How exciting!! Happy birthday to you next week!

Angela,
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't imagine being so far from home. You are so brave! I'm sorry you miss your dogs. I miss my dogs sometimes when I'm at work- you can't talk to your pups on the phone. :(
I hope you have a wonderful birthday next week!
I'm from the DFW area too! Been here my whole life!
Happy Teaching,
Cassie

Howdy Cassie! You're from the DFW area too? That's so cool! Maybe we can actually meet up when I get back in the country. Being away from my dogs is the hardest. I can't email them or talk to them on the phone. But I come home in less than 5 months!

DeleteEnjoy your time abroad. I studies in Spain during college and always planned on teaching overseas someday, but then I got a teaching job, met a boy and the rest is history.
ReplyDeleteYou studied in Spain? I've been there and loved it. Yes, I haven't met the boy yet, so I figured why not move to Korea? I'm living it up for sure!
DeleteWow teaching in Korea, that is amazing. What an adventure!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you'll get a job when you return.
Alex
It sure is an adventure. And I am loving it!
